The Innovation In The Dam weekender is getting ever closer, we’ve already shone a light on 5 Essential Acts that will be performing over the weekend in Amsterdam, we thought it was also right and proper to introduce some of the acts performing in the 2nd arena.

On  23rd & 24th November Jungle Era will be hosting room 2 at The Melkweg & The Box venues and they are bringing some jungle royalty with them, celebrated artists from the foundation years of drum and bass. The music these guys were making & playing created the scene we live & love today.

Kenny Ken

The Soundclash Champion! Known back in the day for having an arsenal of dub plates at his disposal, his track Everyman (a collaboration with DRS) was an anthem at parties such as AWOL & Telepathy

Potential Badboy

Responsible for some of the earliest releases to be tagged with the phrase ‘jungle’, releases on the seminal Ibiza Records cemented his place in jungle history & his production journey continues to this day with releases on DJ Hypes Playaz imprint.

This man has released more music & discovered more artists than he gets credit for. A prolific producer (The Lighter, Black, MA2), owner of Formation Records, and global DJ with his World OF Drum & Bass brand,!

The sound murderer! Remarcs skill at chopping up breakbeats & creative sample use elevated him to release on White Label Records, the infamous Suburban Base, and his own Dollar Records label

Marvellous Caine

Marvellous Cain had a series of big tunes during jungles ragga heyday circa. 1993-95. The Hitman, sampling Cutty Ranks, and Dub Plate Style were both bonafide jungle anthems…. Certified reload material!

We also have live performances from the incredible M-Beat, dancehall legend Topcat, and DJ sets from Devious D, Aries, DJ Twista, Ed Livewire & Phazer, plus original MC’s Demolition Man, Shabba D, Navigator, $pyda, Fatman D & Moose.
