Amsterdam Road Trip

There are plenty of options for getting yourself to Amsterdam for the Innovation Dam Spring Break drum and bass weekender, plane, train or coach, but one of the cheapest options (provided you share the fuel & ferry costs with friends) is to drive.

Ferries run regularly from the UK to Holland and once you dock in The Netherlands it’s a mere 90 minute drive into Amsterdam!

The most direct ferry route runs from Harwich to Hook of Holland, Stena Line run a service along this route, or check Direct Ferries to compare prices of other services.

Alternatively you can cross The Channel via ferry or Eurotunnel and make the 4.5 hour drive from Calais to Amsterdam.

Why not organise with other like minded drivers & passengers to travel out as part of a convoy for a real road trip experience? Head over to the Dam Spring Break event page on Facebook or use the #InnoRoadTrip hashtag on social media to find fellow road trippers. Let us know that you’re driving & we’ll send you a poster to stick in the car window so everyone knows where you’re headed!!

No doubt your hotel can recommend local parking in Amsterdam, or you can check details on parking in the city here.

We’d love to see pictures or footage of your journey, use the #InnoRoadTrip hashtag to share your adventure.
